Bon Voyage

Sitting and waiting for life jacket drill!  Had a great lunch.  Ship completely redone.  Nice inside stateroom with king size bed and big bathroom. And here we go!!

One day to go!

So, the packing process is in full swing!  Hard to pack for two months, especially when you have to have some dressy clothes for a cruise.  And include the casual stuff we normally wear, along with warm clothes for London and cool stuff for Portugal.  All this has to go into a 27 inch suitcase.  Plan on seeing us in the same clothes over and over and over in our pictures!! We also have to pack up the food in our kitchen and store it at a neighbors while we are gone.  Our 2 unit building has termites and we are being tented on May 16.   They gas the whole place and it is uninhabitable for 3 days.  The good thing will be that there will not be a living bug in our place for quite some time!  Florida does have it's varities of critters. Well, I'd better get to it!  Last minute laundry and repacking needs to be done! Itinerary

The last 3 months have been pretty hectic at our house.  We have had tons of company--all of whom we enjoyed immensely.  During that time, Jim became ill with double vision and A-Fib.  He was in the hospital twice.  He still has the double vision and the A-Fib was brought under control with a procedure called a cryoablation.  We both decided it was time for a change of scenery!  So, with the doctors' permission, we planned a two month trip to Europe.  I was on the computer a good 14 hours lining up the places to stay and transportation.
